Terms and Conditions

  • The 60-night sleep trial applies only when a Mattressman mattress protector has been purchased and used from day one.
  • You must notify us that you wish to exchange your mattress between days 30 and 60 from the delivery date.
  • The sleep trial ends on day 61 from the date of delivery.
  • A one-off fee of £50 is required to activate the sleep trial. This covers the collection of your current mattress and the delivery of your replacement. The fee is non-refundable and applies to each mattress exchanged.
  • Mattresses must remain clean, unstained, and undamaged. Any mattress that is soiled or marked will not be eligible for exchange.
  • Your mattress must be used on a suitable base: a fully assembled divan or a bed frame with evenly spaced slats no wider than 6cm apart.
  • Exchanges must be like-for-like in size. If your chosen replacement mattress costs more, you will need to pay the difference.
  • No refund or credit is given if you choose a less expensive mattress. The price difference cannot be used toward additional products.
  • If you purchased a divan, bed frame or set with your original mattress, only the mattress is eligible for exchange.
  • Mattresses must be packaged before collection. Mattressman will provide the appropriate packaging materials.
  • This sleep trial does not apply to adjustable, cot, special-sized or sofa bed mattresses. Products from the Vispring range are also excluded.
  • If you exchange your mattress, the trial does not restart. No additional sleep trial is offered on your reselection.
  • The sleep trial is available only to UK mainland residents.
  • Mattressman reserves the right to inspect any mattress before approving an exchange. If the mattress does not meet the stated conditions, the exchange will be refused.
  • Collections must be carried out by an approved Mattressman courier, which we will arrange with you.
  • Access for collection must be clear and unobstructed. If our courier cannot collect the mattress due to restricted access or if the mattress is not packaged, the sleep trial will no longer be valid.
  • Replacement mattresses provided under the sleep trial are not eligible for return or refund under the standard 14-day returns window.

How to make a claim

If you would like to exchange your mattress during your sleep trial, please email sleeptrial@mattressman.co.uk between days 30 and 60 of your trial period.

In your email, please include your full name, delivery address and original order number. If you already know which mattress you would like to exchange for, feel free to add those details in as well.

Our sleep trial team will get in touch within three working days to guide you through the next steps and help you find your perfect mattress.
